Clwyd West AM Darren Millar had a trip down memory lane this week when he visited staff and pupils at his old secondary school.
Darren made the visit to Abergele’s Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan on Monday to meet with the Headteacher, Lee Cummins, and the school council.
He said:
"It is always good to go back to Emrys ap Iwan, a place which holds many happy memories for me. I enjoyed talking to the school council, who are doing a tremendous job at the school. They asked some challenging questions and I’m delighted that they are showing a keen interest in my work as a local AM.
"It was also great to catch up with Mr Cummins. Emrys ap Iwan is a great community school that has achieved a lot over the years and Mr Cummins is do a sterling job in taking the school forward and leading the excellent team of staff there"
