Clwyd West AM Darren Millar will be on the buses next week to meet constituents who travel about issues they would like to raise.
Darren will be accompanied by Sarah Rochira, the Older People's Commissioner for Wales, for the morning journey a week on Friday along the coast between Rhos-on-Sea and Kinmel Bay.
The surgery will take place on the number 12 bus, which departs from the Cayley Arms in Rhos-on-Sea at 10.27am and arrives at Kinmel Bay Crossroads at 11.11am.
Darren said:
“I always like to be accessible to my constituents, but I know it can be difficult for the elderly or those without their own transport to come to my constituency office or the surgeries I hold in town centres, so I thought this time I would go to them.
“Whilst they are travelling they can to chat to myself and the Older People’s Commissioner about any concerns they have.
“I am very much looking forward to the trip and hope there are plenty of passengers onboard.”
Michael Morton, Area Managing Director, Arriva Buses Wales said:
“Our buses are the perfect place for our customers to sit back, relax and have a chat, so it’s the ideal place for Darren and Sarah to meet some constituents on the move.
“We hope that the trip proves to be a success, it’ll certainly be a surgery with a difference!”
