An array of topics concerning Wales were discussed when a group of Colwyn Bay students met up with their local Assembly Member at the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff this week.
The Welsh baccalaureate students from Eirias High School visited the Senedd on Wednesday and met with Clwyd West AM Darren Millar.
Darren said:
“It was great to welcome them to the Assembly, they were fantastic ambassadors for the school.
“We discussed concerns around local maternity services, whether to introduce a smacking ban in Wales and whether to lower the voting age to 16.
“"I was impressed with their level of interest in Welsh politics at all levels, they raised some very some valid points. I wish them all success in their continued studies.”
